Get to know Zum Charter Services VP Jeremy Neigher

Jeremy Neigher comes to Zūm with a depth of knowledge and proven success in expanding market share and growing services at companies including Lyft and AMP Robotics. He has also dedicated most of his career to sustainability, which makes him an exciting addition to Zum’s team as Vice President of Charter Services.

Get to know why Jeremy is eager to be a part of Zum – and which baseball team he’ll be rooting for this season:

What excites you about your new position at Zum?

Zum is at a really exciting stage in its growth – we’re expanding into six additional markets this year and have big plans for 2025. There are so many opportunities to take Zum beyond home-to-school and provide a seamless experience for year-round charters, especially as we continue to electrify our fleet.

Having worked in rideshare prior to Zum, I’m particularly energized by the potential to engage with our driver community and create more earning opportunities as drivers look to grow their careers.

Which Zum pillar resonates with you the most? (Flexibility, Equity, Efficiency, Safety, Sustainability and Community)

I’ve dedicated the majority of my career to sustainability work, from renewables to the circular economy and recycling. I’m thrilled to work with a team at Zum that’s similarly motivated to find solutions that address the greatest challenge of our time. Electrifying the largest transit system in the country will make real progress toward improving things for the next generation.

What’s the most recent book you’ve read?

The Wager by David Grann. It’s an incredible story about a small group of people overcoming immense challenges and shaping history.

Where is your favorite vacation spot?

The area around Monument Valley in northern Arizona/southern Utah. I lived in Utah for several years and have always loved visiting the national parks and doing road trips around that area. Highly recommend!

What’s your favorite sport, and what team are you a superfan of?

Unfortunately for me, I’m a lifelong New York Mets fan. It’s a wonderfully miserable experience that my dad and I have spent countless hours discussing, watching and commiserating over together. Next year, like the one before it, is our year.

Welcome, Jeremy – we’re delighted to have you on Zum’s team!
