Zum Announces Second Hiring Event for Santa Barbara Unified School District

As Zūm gears up for the 2024-25 school year in Santa Barbara Unified School District (SBUSD), it has announced a second hiring event for school bus drivers on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Goleta (6878 Hollister Ave., Goleta, CA 93117).

Certified school bus drivers as well as anyone considering a new career as a school bus driver are encouraged to attend.

SBUSD recently awarded a $30 million, five-year transportation contract to Zum. Zum offers competitive wages and modern benefits for all drivers and staff, as well as top-of-the-line buses, equipment, and technology.

Advanced training and certification programs include extensive ongoing training in transporting students with diverse needs and disabilities.
