Zum drivers nationwide recognize School Bus Safety Week

This week Zūm drivers, monitors and staff have been recognizing National School Bus Safety Week with special events, training sessions and more at its bus yards nationwide.

“This year’s theme, ‘Safety in Action,’ truly describes what we do every single day at Zum,” said Liz Sanchez, Executive Vice President of Student Transportation at Zum. “Safety is our top priority, and we are grateful to our drivers nationwide who deliver safe, reliable rides for students and families.”

“At Zum, our state-of-the-art technology combined with best-in-class driver training is designed to keep children safe from the moment they get on the bus until they arrive back home,” said Ritu Narayan, CEO and founder at Zum. “School Bus Safety Week is a chance to review safety procedures and to celebrate our outstanding drivers and staff.”

This week Zum also announced several new safety features, including an expanded partnership with SPED Safe and updates to its industry-leading safety technology.
