Zūm CEO Ritu Narayan Speaks About Diversity and Entrepreneurship

This week Zūm CEO Ritu Narayan was a featured speaker at “Building Momentum,” a conference focused on diversity and entrepreneurship presented by the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

On a panel titled “Scaling and Building Successful Teams,” Narayan discussed her personal journey as a founder and CEO, Zum’s evolution and how to inspire and accelerate diversity in entrepreneurship. Other panelists included Melissa Uribe Gil, Executive Vice President of Costex Tractor Parts; and Dr. Michelle Longmire, Cofounder and CEO of Medable. Rollins Stallworth III moderated the discussion.

“The ‘Building Momentum’ conference provides a unique opportunity for a diverse group of entrepreneurs to network, support each other and share their experiences,” Narayan said. “It’s an honor to be included among this prestigious group of leaders and so inspiring to hear their stories.”

Panelists also addressed how they incorporate diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) best practices at their organizations, especially when scaling their teams, and what they have learned as their companies have grown. Ritu emphasized for teams to focus on their mission as the guiding principle when making decisions and building teams.

Thank you to the Stanford Graduate School of Business for a powerful and insightful event!
