Back to School 2025: San Bernardino, CA

Last week Zūm kicked off the 2025-26 school year in San Bernardino, Calif., with a launch event for drivers and staff.

This is the third year Zum has partnered with San Bernardino City Unified School District for student transportation. Zum’s annual back-to-school events are a fun way to recognize our hard-working teams and make sure everyone is ready to deliver safe, reliable rides for students on the first day of school.

“At Zum, we have spent the summer making sure our drivers and equipment are all in top shape for the new school year,” said Eric Huegerich, Senior General Manager at Zum. “We have a highly trained team that loves what they do and is aware of the important role that student transportation plays in the lives of children, families and schools. We’re looking forward to a great year.”

“Drivers are at the center of what we do at Zum, and we’re honored to serve the San Bernardino school community,” said Liz Sanchez, Executive Vice President of Student Transportation at Zum. “We are proud to have an excellent workplace culture and environment for all drivers and staff, and we are eager to kick off another school year!”

Zum delivers safe, reliable and equitable student transportation in 14 states nationwide and takes pride in being a “choice employer” in cities where it has partnerships.

We’re grateful to our team in San Bernardino and are looking forward to another excellent year!
