Back to School 2025: Reading, PA
This week Zūm was thrilled to kick off the 2025-26 school year in Reading, Pa., for students, families and schools.
This is the second year Zum has partnered with Reading School District for student transportation. Before the launch of the school year, Zum celebrated its drivers and staff with an event at the bus yard to recognize everyone’s hard work.
“We had a busy summer preparing for another great school year, whether it was making sure our buses and equipment were in top-notch shape or having our drivers practice their routes so they would be 100% comfortable on the first day,” Missy Lash, Reading General Manager at Zum. “We’re all excited to get back to serving this welcoming school community each day.”
“We’re honored to kick off our second year serving families and schools in Reading School District,” said Liz Sanchez, Executive Vice President of Student Transportation at Zum. “At Zum, we take great pride in being a ‘choice employer’ where we have partnerships, and we appreciate our drivers’ dedication to delivering safe, reliable rides to every student.”
Zum manages and operates safe, reliable, equitable and sustainable student transportation to more than 4,000 schools in 14 states nationwide. In addition to highly trained drivers and state-of-the-art school buses, Zum integrates data-driven routing, driver tracking and enhanced safety measures, offering families real-time updates through the Zum mobile app.
We are grateful to our team in Reading and look forward to another successful year!
