Back to School 2025: Millard Public Schools (Nebraska)

It’s back-to-school time for Millard Public Schools, and this week Zūm drivers and staff welcomed the 2025-26 school year with a kickoff celebration at the Zum bus yard.

This is the first year Zum has partnered with the Nebraska district for student transportation. Millard Public Schools is the third largest school district in Nebraska and serves approximately 23,000 students. 

“After several successful hiring events, we are fully staffed and ready to deliver safe, efficient rides to this welcoming school community,” said Richard Lindell, Regional Manager, Zum. “The entire Zum team is excited about this partnership, and our drivers value the important role they play in students’ and families’ lives.”

Lindell added, “Drivers are at the heart of our business. In addition to receiving advanced training, they will enjoy state-of-the-art, air-conditioned buses that will also be propane, which is most reliable during winter.”

Millard Public Schools is the second school district in Nebraska to partner with Zum for student transportation. In 2024, Zum successfully launched its partnership with Omaha Public Schools.
