Zūm drivers and staff are excited to welcome back students in Howard County, Md.!
The 2025-26 school year marks the third year of Zum’s partnership with Howard County Public School System (HCPSS). Over the summer, Zum’s teams worked hard to ensure drivers received advanced training and all equipment and technology were in top shape for the first day of school.
“Thanks to months of preparation, collaboration and hard work in partnership with Howard County Public School System, we were pleased to provide safe, reliable and efficient transportation for students and families on day one,” said John Gray, General Manager at Zum. “We were delighted to start the year with all routes covered, a surplus of drivers and buses arriving at school on time. We extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated drivers, district partners, parents and students whose commitment made this strong start possible.”
“Drivers are the center of what we do at Zum, and we take pride in hiring the best team and providing a culture that puts drivers first,” said Liz Sanchez, Executive Vice President of Student Transportation at Zum. “We look forward to a successful school year in Howard County, delivering safe and reliable rides to and from school each day for every student.”
