Back to School 2025: Branford, CT
Zum buses are back on the roads in Branford, Conn., last week as Branford Public Schools kicked off the 2025-26 school year.
This is the second year of Zum’s partnership with the Connecticut district, and Zum’s team was eager to get back to delivering safe, reliable and efficient transportation for students, families and schools. Before the school year began, Zum recognized drivers and staff with a special event at the bus yard.
“We are proud of our top-notch team of drivers — but more importantly, we appreciate and value this wonderful school community,” said Charlotte Charbono, Senior Location Manager at Zum in Branford. “We’re excited about the year ahead and ready to deliver excellent service.”
“Our highly trained team in Branford worked hard over the summer to ensure everything would go smoothly on day one,” said Liz Sanchez, Executive Vice President of Student Transportation at Zum. “Best-in-class service and our cutting-edge technology will give parents peace of mind and ensure students arrive at school on time and ready to learn every day.”
Zum manages and operates safe, reliable, equitable, and sustainable student transportation in 14 states nationwide. In addition to highly trained drivers and state-of-the-art school buses, Zum integrates data-driven routing, driver tracking and enhanced safety measures, offering families real-time updates through the Zum mobile app.
We appreciate our team and are delighted to kick off another successful school year with Branford Public Schools!
