Back to School 2024: Kansas City, Mo.
This week Zūm’s coast-to-coast back-to-school celebrations continued in Kansas City, Mo., where its new team of drivers and staff gathered to kick off the 2024-25 school year.
This is the first year Zum has partnered with Kansas City Public Schools (KCPS) for student transportation. Through Zum, students, families, drivers and school administrators will receive state-of-the-art service and peace of mind that comes from enhanced safety features, transparency and increased technology.
“We have built an excellent team of bus drivers and staff in Kansas City, and we are privileged to be working with this school community,” said Liz Sanchez, Executive Vice President of Student Transportation at Zum. “All of our drivers will enjoy brand new school buses with lumbar support, new facilities and state-of-the-art technology.”
Zum’s buses prioritize advanced safety features and family-focused service. All Zum drivers interact with an easy-to-use technology platform that includes route optimization; GPS tracking; a state-of-the-art AI camera system for training and student safety; and a driver tablet for navigation, tracking student attendance and keeping tabs on items left behind on the bus.
