ASU+GSV Summit Welcomes Zūm CEO Ritu Narayan to Discuss the Importance of Modernized Student Transportation on Education
This week Zūm CEO Ritu Narayan met with educators, investors, industry leaders and entrepreneurs from around the world at the ASU+GSV Summit, the prestigious global event focused on technology education.
In addition to Narayan, this year’s main stage featured speakers included Bill Gates, Jane Fonda, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Sheryl Sandberg.
Narayan appeared on two panels to talk about how Zūm is transforming the student transportation industry: “Strategies for K-12 Excellence,” which focused on the future of K-12 education and how leaders are helping kids to grow and progress; and “Exploring the Brave New World of Learning,” which also offered insight into developments in technology education.
“The ASU+GSV Summit offers an incredible opportunity to engage with and hear from some of our greatest thinkers and innovators around the world,” Narayan said. “I was delighted to meet these leaders to discuss the importance of ensuring all people have equal access to the education they deserve – and how Zūm is committed to improving the educational experience for millions of families by revolutionizing the student transportation industry.”
Narayan also served as a judge in the GSV Cup, the world’s largest pitch competition for EdTech startups.
On Monday, Narayan was honored by ASU+GSV as one of the 2023 Power of Women Award winners for her work in transforming student transportation, and featured in the event’s highly distinguished Power of Women Hall of Fame.
